August 3, 2008 | LISLE, IL The Lisle-Woodridge Fire District and the Woodridge Police department will be playing a charity softball game on Monday, August 4th at 5pm at the Benedictine University sports complex on the Softball field. The Firefighters and the Police officers will be playing a softball game to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Tickets for the charity softball event will be $5 and all the money raised through tickets and raffle items will go towards ACS.
Tickets are still available by walking up to the ticket gate to purchase them. All tickets that are purchase will also be good for the DuPage Dragons Baseball game at 7:05pm that night when they take on the Quincy Gems. Come and see the Firefighters and the Police Officers as they compete with our on-field promotions against each other during the Dupage Dragons game.
