August 11, 2008 | LISLE, IL The Dupage Dragons in front of 500 fans celebrated the end of the season with a 3-0 win over the Danville Dans on Saturday Night. With the celebration of Dingers birthday party with all of his friends on hand Saturday night.
The Dragons got a dominant performance from lefty Ryan Copeland to close the season out with a win over Danville Saturday night in Lisle by the score of 3-0.
Copeland went seven and a third scoreless innings as the Dragons closed out the '08 campaign with a victory over the second half champions Dans.
Phil Wunderlich belted his second home run of the season to lead the offensive attack.
The Dupage Dragons would like to thank all our fans and sponsors for a great 2008 season and look for announcements regarding events for the 2009 season. The 2009 season will be the DuPage Dragons 5th anniversity.
